What's inside?

OUR MISSION

We just love to see you smile!

To promote and provide high-quality gourmet Jamaican pastries, offering value for money local products with excellent customer service. Each of our treats is produced from carefully selected natural, local ingredients, keeping in focus the original, fresh, hand-made, refined taste of Old Jamaica.

Keeping the tradition of Jamaican confectionery authentic,

vibrant and international

We are a small family business, which means we really care about the quality of our treats. Our little factory is based in St. Ann, Jamaica, so that our ingredients don’t have to travel far from the farms where they are grown.

JAMAICAN DESSERTS

A long and glorious tradition

Ever since the 16th century when sugar was first manufactured in Jamaica, pastry recipes have been passed on from generation to generation. In days gone by, everyone knew the 'sweets seller' because typically the seller would 'set up shop' on a local sidewalk, and often in front of a school's gate. Today, homemade traditional sweet-making is a dying art, not only because of competition from large commercial international corporations but because the authenticity of many recipes has been impacted by mass production.

Boonununus Sweet Treats aims to keep the heritage of Jamaican confectionery alive and vibrant. We invite you to get to know your 'sweets seller' again

OUR LITTLE FACTORY

It's what's on the inside that counts

In 2014, our family left the hustle and bustle of Kingston for a slower pace in a lusher place; the “garden” parish. Inspired by the sea, our Portland roots, international travel, Jamaican pride and the natural simplicity of our surroundings, we launched this line of fine traditional Jamaican sweets.

It’s a dream long overdue.

A few years later, due to the growing demand for our sweets, we’ve expanded our little factory and team to include a fantastic, committed group of local talents to better serve our ever increasing customer base; yard and broad.
